This is my favourite time of year to be in The Algarve.
The weather has changed for the better. The gigs are great, and there’s a feeling around town that the summer is beginning.
I love having music as my job.
I have lots going on this year. All good stuff!
I’ll be doing weekends in Steps from March (starting properly in April), Jack’s in the marina once a week, a few weddings and private functions, and there will be a Sunset Cruise in September.

It’s nice to chill out a bit and relax.
I’ll be back in Steps for a few nights, from the 29th. My mum will be with us, to celebrate Xmas and see in the new year.
We all know she’s more popular than me in my gigs!!

So, the winter is almost here.
My gigs in Steps will just be weekends in November.
Jack’s will still be happening, as will The Padel Club.
Throughout November, I’ll also be playing in Sharky’s on Fridays from 2.
Some of the gigs will be weather permitting, because they’re outside. Please message me or call the venue to make sure.
The summer has been great. I’m looking forward to relaxing a bit.
So… I’m doing 8 gigs a week. Sounds like a Beatles song!
Steps is brilliant, as always. Lovely people, a little bit mad (but in a good way). I use my big PA system here, and the sound is like putting on a warm coat in the winter!! The staff are excellent, and the beers are cold!!
Jack’s on Wednesday afternoon is a nice gig. It’s early (4pm), and has a very chilled out vibe going on. I think I’m catching people as they’ve just headed out!
The Padel Club reminds me so much of playing in Cullin’s Yard, Dover years ago. I love Sunday afternoon gigs. I can wear my sunglasses!!

We’re only in April, and the gigs are in full swing. After a long winter, it’s great to get back to it.
Steps is great and busy as always.
Jack’s on Wednesdays, I play before a band in the afternoon. It’s a really nice chilled out vibe.
The Padel Club has turned into a brilliant Sunday afternoon gig. As soon as I finish, it’s straight round to Steps for the evening.

It’s been a strange start to the new year for me.
My Dad passed away in December. We were very close.
A very good friend of mine told me that our parents want us to be happy, and to get out and get on with life. As sad as I am, she’s right.
I’ll be in Steps Bar from March.
In the meantime I’ll be in Albufeira Padel Club on Sunday afternoons, and I’ll be doing the odd restaurant gig where my mate, Chef Andy takes over the kitchen.

After a great season in Albufeira, the winter is finally upon us. Steps is closed until Xmas, and as much as I love working, it’s nice to wind down for a little while.
The Padel Club is still happening on Sundays, with one or two other things possibly in the pipeline. Watch this space…

This year in Steps has been, and still is fantastic. Even as the summer begins to wind down, the gigs are great.
Albufeira Padel Club has become a lovely afternoon gig, that may turn into 2 days a week as we approach the winter.
The sun is still shining, and the beers are still cold!!
Time is really moving quickly. It’s August already.
